Golf can be played standing or sitting. Adaptive golf carts can help with stabilizing the body while swinging a club by using power assist seats to bring the golfer into more of a standing position. Adaptive equipment is also available to assist teeing-up, retrieving the ball, gripping the club, and improving the overall game. Use of the handicap system creates an equal playing field for both individuals with and without disabilities.
